Artist's Description
I photographed this self-portrait during a manic episode (being creative keeps me awake) so i could reset to a normal sleep schedule. I utilized the beautiful daylight that was filtering in through my window. When i am manic, my thoughts race around faster than usual. My body is exhausted but my frenetic mind prevents me from sleeping.
