My beautiful Birdie Boy literally flew into my life on a summery Seattle afternoon back in 2010, when i had left my balcony windows open. My attempts to relocate him failed as he kept finding his way back to me, determined to stay. Fortunately, the vet gave him a clean bill of health. I adore this little guy, he has my heart. He brightens my world. I am so thankful to have this little lovie in my life. He has a strong personality and makes me laugh everyday. He loves to perch on me and always wants to be as close to me as he can get. He also loves balancing on one foot. He has introduced me to the wonderful world of birds.
This image was captured while my beautiful Birdie Boy was watching himself in a shattered full-length mirror, that i have for him, out in my living room (workmen broke it during the bathroom remodel). I loved the way the shattered pieces created a curtain of fractured light, along with a beautiful color spectrum.
