Artist's Description
I wanted to create an image that expressed how it feels when the dark cloud of depression, anxiety and angst loom over my emotional horizon.
I created this image by using materials at hand; a broken hand fan and a black shower curtain ring. I then placed a handful of adhesive-backed rhinestones on a scratched up piece of Plexiglas, i painted black. I photographed them separately so i could scale them to the image of myself. Post-editing done in Adobe Photoshop.
